2026 UM Innovation Award from the Social Sciences Research Cluster
awarded as part of the Montpellier University Innovation Cluster,
led by the University of Montpellier.

Agnès Robin is being honored for the JurisDoR project, an open-access platform designed to organize and make research data law more accessible.

▶ The JurisDoR website provides the general public and the higher education and research communities with the legal resources needed to manage research data.

JurisDoR is designed around the research data lifecycle. The presentation of the data lifecycle diagram has been adapted from its official version. This is because certain technical operations have no legal implications. The various applicable rules and standards are presented according to the operation performed on the data. The rules and standards are presented concisely. They are accompanied by sources and references and link to official texts. They also includeexamples drawn from scientific research across all scientific disciplines.

Agnès Robin is an associate professor at the University of Montpellier, director of LICeM, and director of the Master’s program in Intellectual Property and Digital Law. She specializes in intellectual property law, digital law, and innovation and research law.

Laura Tomasso holds a Ph.D. in Private Law from the University of Montpellier and is a member of the Paris Bar. She wrote her dissertation on “The Legal Framework for Data in the Digital Agricultural Environment.” She contributed to the website during her postdoctoral fellowship at LICeM from 2022 to 2024.
