Association of Teachers of Pharmaceutical Law and Economics

Georges J. Essosso, Ph.D. in Law, an associate member of the Institute for Law and Health (INSERM UMRS 1145) and a postdoctoral researcher at LICeM, received the 2026 Research Thesis Award from the Association of Teachers in Pharmaceutical Law and Economics (AEDEP) for his thesis titled: *
* “Comparative Law of Medical Devices in France and Cameroon.”

This award represents a particularly significant recognition of research focused on the legal and regulatory challenges surrounding medical devices, from a comparative perspective between Europe and Africa.

Through this dissertation, the author sought to highlight the importance of comparative law as a tool for understanding regulatory systems, but also as a means of improving and harmonizing pharmaceutical law.

The Licem congratulates him on this honor.
