Market Law Day 2025

Senior Lecturer in Private Law – HDR,
Director of the Master's 2 in Economic Private Law
and the Innovation, Communication and Market Laboratory (LICeM), are organizing,
with the support of EDACS
and students from the Master's 2 in Consumption and Competition and Economic Private Law
"Market Law Day."

The symposium on Economic Law and the Social and Solidarity Economy will be held in the Jean Moulin lecture hall (2.0.07), in Building 2 of the Faculty of Law and Political Science in Montpellier on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The purpose of this event is to present current developments in economic law.

The day is divided into two parts:

– Morning: presentation of current economic law issues by students from the Master's 2 programs in Consumer Affairs and Competition and Private Economic Law in Consumer Law, Competition Law, and Distribution Law.

– Afternoon: lecture by Mr. Jean Gatel, former Secretary of State to the Prime Minister, responsible for the social economy
