The theme of the 2023 symposium was "The CPP, the ethical link in human research." A round table discussion was held on this topic with the participation of an institutional sponsor, the head of the promotion unit of the Clinical Research and Innovation Delegation (DRCI) at Toulouse University Hospital, and a representative from industry. The constructive discussions provided an opportunity to better understand the expectations and needs of each of the clinical research stakeholders. Four workshops on four themes concluded the symposium:
– Creation of an entity to answer questions from clinical trial participants
– Inclusion of 12-18 year olds
– Decentralized trials
– Workshop led by the administrative managers of a CPP.
