The theme of the 2023 symposium was "The CPP, the ethical link in human research". A round table discussion was held around this theme, with the participation of an institutional promoter, the head of the promotion unit of the Clinical Research and Innovation Delegation (DRCI) at Toulouse University Hospital, and a representative from the industrial world. The constructive discussions enabled us to gain a better understanding of the expectations and needs of each of the players involved in clinical research. Four workshops on 4 themes concluded the symposium:
- Creation of an entity to answer questions from clinical trial participants
- Inclusion of 12-18 year-olds
- Decentralized trials
- Workshop led by the administrative managers of a CPP.
